Volunteer Opportunities

A number of volunteer opportunities exist at the Colorado Lions Camp for special populations. During our summer sessions, which run each year from early June through late August, several opportunities for interaction with campers or in a support role are offered for volunteers ages 16 and up. Opportunities include staffing or assisting with the delivery of an activity which includes aquatics, arts and crafts, nature, and games. Other opportunities include assisting the camp in a support role. These may include assisting with food service, grounds maintenance, or office support.

If you are interested in any of these areas or if you have a special talent you would like to share, please contact Director James Pierie for details about how you can make a difference in the lives of the disabled population of Colorado. No experience is necessary and on-site housing and food is available to volunteers.
